Our Leadership
Leaders in our congregation are devoted to helping the congregation be a community transformed by Christ to be Christ in the world.
Our Savior’s Lutheran Church has 11 committees which work together to do the mission of the congregation. A description of each committee can be found under the “Ministries” page. Most committees meet once a month. If you are interested in getting involved in one of these ministries, contact the church office.
Each committee has one member who serves on the church council. The church council’s duty is to aid committees in doing their work, provide general management for the congregation, work with staff, and provide long-term leadership for the congregation. The council meets on the third Thursday of each month.
The staff of Our Savior’s keep day to day operations of the church going, provide organizational leadership, lead worship, and keep our building sparkling clean. In the front office you will find our parish secretary, Jan Gregorich, and our financial secretary, Cindy Eggert. Working in the choir balcony you will find our organist, Elaine Sweeney, and our choir director, Jan Peterson. Lindsey Weiers is our interim Youth and Family Ministry Coordinator. Roaming around the building you might find our two maintenance men: Bob Campbell and Ossie Schock.
Erik Holleque is our senior pastor, and Dan Smith is our associate pastor.
While we have many defined leaders, staff, and pastors, they are not the ministers of the congregation. Rather, their role is to encourage and empower the congregation in its ministry.
